I first visited this unused cemetery in 2021 and returned in 2024, captivated by its. It was intriguing to witness a cemetery devoid of flowers, vases, and photos—just the bare structure, stripped of emotional meaning. I discovered that it had been repurposed as storage for Christmas decorations, increasing its surreal atmosphere. Upon my return in 2024, I noted the changes: tombs covered in lichens, overgrown trees, cracking concrete and the broken doors of the columbarium. The cemetery is slowly withering away, a poignant metaphor for the bodies that were meant to decay here.
